Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and public health agencies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or similar software
- Experience with grant writing and program budgeting
- Valid Missouri driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation a plus
- Knowledge of local health regulations and community resources
