Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and data analysis to identify emerging health threats
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs for vulnerable populations
- Coordinate cross-agency responses to public health emergencies
- Conduct community outreach and education initiatives
- Prepare critical reports for county officials and state health departments
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate health surveillance systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in public health or epidemiology
- Strong data analysis and statistical modeling skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with emergency response protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Texas driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired
