Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft actionable recommendations for state legislators
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging public health and environmental trends
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement equitable policy solutions
- Prepare detailed legislative briefings and public-facing communication materials
- Monitor federal regulations and assess impacts on Oregon communities
- Develop evidence-based performance metrics for program evaluation
- Present findings to executive leadership and stakeholder committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of policy analysis or government experience
- Expertise in quantitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proficiency with statistical software (R, SPSS, or SAS)
- Deep understanding of Oregon's legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
