Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources with precision
- Maintain detailed incident documentation in CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Operate radio systems and specialized communication equipment
- Remain calm under extreme pressure during critical incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and Kansas residency required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified assessment)
- Exceptional multitasking and situational awareness skills
- Available to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Valid driver's license with clean record
