Responsibilities
- Process and prioritize 911 calls during assigned night shifts
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources to emergency scenes
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and emergency communication equipment
- Provide critical information to first responders and the public
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure emergency situations
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Successful completion of background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to work rotating night shifts including weekends and holidays
- EMR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
