Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and prioritize incidents for police, fire, and EMS response
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software during high-pressure scenarios
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and comply with NIMS protocols
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Conduct thorough call screening and information verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1-year customer service or call center experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- NCIC certification within 6 months of hire
- Must pass EMT-Basic training within first year
