Responsibilities
- Respond to 911 calls and prioritize emergency dispatches
- Coordinate fire, police, and medical response teams
- Operate CAD/RMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Maintain detailed incident documentation
- Provide crisis intervention support to callers
- Collaborate with overnight agency supervisors
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 2+ years emergency dispatch experience (preferred)
- National Emergency Number Association (NENA) certification
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Fluency in English/Spanish bilingual (desired)
- Experience with CAD systems (e.g., Versadex, ProCAD)
