Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned city areas during weekend shifts to prevent crime and respond to emergencies
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Conduct thorough incident documentation and maintain accurate case files
- Collaborate with emergency services (fire, EMS) during critical incidents
- Provide community outreach and education programs focused on weekend safety
- Utilize advanced surveillance systems and crime mapping tools
- Participate in specialized weekend deployment initiatives (e.g., special events, downtown security)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in Criminal Justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years public safety or security experience
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) certification
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun/Sat-Mon)
- Fluency in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese highly valued
- Successful completion of background check and polygraph examination
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
