Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities and grounds to ensure maximum security and safety.
- Respond promptly to emergency incidents, alarms, and security breaches.
- Conduct routine inspections of building access points, fire extinguishers, and security systems.
- Process and accurately document incident reports and visitor logs.
- Enforce organizational policies and local laws with a professional demeanor.
- Assist the public with inquiries, directions, and access control procedures.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and respond to physical emergencies as required.
- Pass a background check, drug screening, and medical evaluation.
