Responsibilities
- Record Management: Accurately input, maintain, and organize vital public records and documents in accordance with state regulations.
- Public Assistance: Provide courteous and efficient service to the public, answering inquiries regarding records and procedures.
- Data Verification: Cross-reference data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in files immediately.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to government confidentiality laws and agency protocols.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of digital filing systems and archiving processes.
- Reporting: Prepare routine reports on record activity and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or a government-related environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with government database software.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours with occasional overtime as required.
