Responsibilities
- Analyze complex municipal data to identify service gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for policy and program enhancements
- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with community members and local organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for City Council and department leadership
- Manage cross-departmental projects related to public service delivery
- Monitor compliance with federal/state regulations and grant requirements
- Utilize GIS mapping and statistical modeling for spatial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in municipal government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of California government regulations and procurement processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Certification in Public Administration (CPM or MPA) preferred
- Valid California driver's license
