Responsibilities
- Coordinate interdepartmental service delivery across Parks & Recreation, Transportation, and Public Safety divisions
- Develop and execute community outreach programs to gather resident feedback on municipal services
- Analyze service performance metrics using GIS mapping and statistical analysis tools
- Manage digital service platforms including citizen portals and mobile reporting systems
- Facilitate quarterly town halls and stakeholder meetings with neighborhood associations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for City Council on service efficiency and community satisfaction trends
- Lead cross-functional task forces for emergency response coordination and disaster recovery planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in municipal government or public sector coordination
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS) and data visualization tools
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong understanding of KC municipal codes and service protocols
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance reporting
