Responsibilities
- Process and review public service requests, permits, and applications with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain and update accurate digital and physical records for departmental operations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, data entry, and administrative support for senior management.
- Collaborate with other city departments to ensure seamless service delivery and information flow.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations and policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow processes and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related government sector role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends during peak seasons.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
