Responsibilities
- Oversee $50M+ infrastructure projects including road maintenance and water systems
- Manage cross-departmental compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop annual budget proposals and track expenditure reports
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public works crises
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community boards and contractors
- Analyze infrastructure data to optimize resource allocation
- Supervise 15+ technical staff and contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Public Administration (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years municipal government experience
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and infrastructure software
- FEMA Incident Command System certification
- Strong knowledge of EPA/ADOT regulations
- Proven budget management over $1M annually
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive projects
