Responsibilities
- Inspect construction projects for compliance with city codes and blueprints
- Document violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and city officials
- Review permit applications and project plans
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams
- Enforce safety standards on job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years construction inspection experience
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Knowledge of ICC and NM building codes
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with inspection software and CAD tools
