Responsibilities
- Conduct daily on-site inspections of public infrastructure projects
- Verify compliance with city codes, state regulations, and project specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials
- Investigate public complaints and address safety concerns
- Review engineering plans and permit applications
- Train junior inspectors and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years construction inspection experience
- Valid Arizona Class IV Water/Wastewater Operator certification
- OSHA 30-hour Construction certification
- Proficiency with CAD software and inspection databases
- Strong knowledge of IPC/UPC plumbing codes
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience with municipal project documentation systems
