Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street repairs, snow removal, and park maintenance
- Operate light machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction and repair of public facilities and utilities
- Maintain clean and safe work environments following OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible shifts
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination and background check
