Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, dump trucks) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, grading, and material handling
- Maintain city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in construction projects and facility repairs
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months
- Teamwork and reliability essential
