Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Maintain public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and asphalt rollers
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Complete digital documentation remotely using field management software
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Experience with GIS mapping or digital reporting tools
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
