Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, paving, and concrete work
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and power tools safely
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Conduct site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition
- Document work progress and report equipment issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction methods preferred
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures for construction environments
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
