Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, paving, and infrastructure maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks) with precision and safety
- Assist in construction projects for roads, bridges, and public facilities
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain worksite cleanliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class A or B CDL license preferred
- 2+ years of construction or public works experience
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
