Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders) for excavation and grading tasks
- Perform manual labor including shoveling, lifting, and material handling
- Assist in road construction, repair, and maintenance projects
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Maintain safe work environments following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Perform groundskeeping and park maintenance duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
