Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt/concrete repair
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) safely and efficiently
- Assist in traffic control and safety protocol enforcement at work sites
- Conduct routine maintenance on public facilities, parks, and drainage systems
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste management compliance
- Document daily work activities and material usage in digital logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 1 year of construction or public works experience preferred
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and commitment to community service
