Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (saws, compactors, sweepers) with on-site certification
- Maintain construction sites per OSHA safety protocols
- Assist in roadway repairs, drainage systems, and sidewalk installations
- Support seasonal park beautification and facility maintenance projects
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver's License required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (provided if needed)
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
