Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers)
- Assist in construction and maintenance of sidewalks, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Ensure work areas comply with OSHA safety standards
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Document work activities and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with construction tools or heavy machinery preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
