Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain city-provided equipment (excavators, jackhammers, dump trucks)
- Perform manual labor tasks for infrastructure maintenance (roads, drainage, parks)
- Assist in construction projects following safety protocols and blueprints
- Conduct site inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and daily operational checks
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (training provided)
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or related field
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
