Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and street sweepers
- Perform manual labor including digging, paving, and debris removal
- Inspect and maintain public infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project implementation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Clear criminal background check
