Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street repairs, park maintenance, and waste collection
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents (snow removal, flooding)
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report issues
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
- Complete digital paperwork and reporting remotely as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Experience with municipal/public works preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Comfortable with hybrid work model (onsite 4 days/week + remote admin tasks)
