Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and drainage system upkeep
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) under supervision
- Assist in park landscaping, trail maintenance, and facility renovations
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Support emergency response during severe weather events
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- 1+ year of construction or maintenance experience preferred
