Responsibilities
- Maintain city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., dump trucks, graders, forklifts)
- Perform park and facility maintenance (landscaping, repairs)
- Support emergency response during weather events
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Assist with traffic control and construction zone setup
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
