Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators, graders) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, shoveling, and material handling
- Assist in road repairs, drainage system maintenance, and sidewalk construction
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Collaborate with crew members to project deadlines
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Willingness to obtain flagger certification (training provided)
- Must pass background check
