Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in street repair, sidewalk maintenance, and park facility upkeep
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Support stormwater management and drainage system maintenance
- Collaborate with crew leads and cross-departmental teams
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Previous public works or construction experience preferred
