Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and street repair under supervisor guidance
- Operate light machinery like jackhammers, saws, and compactors safely
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report issues
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor in all weather
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic machinery operation
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and emergency situations
