Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving
- Operate hand/power tools and light equipment under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Work collaboratively with crew members on daily assignments
- Report maintenance issues and complete daily work logs
- Participate in emergency response operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- No felony convictions or major traffic violations
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to worksites across the city
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
