Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, sweepers)
- Maintain public spaces (parks, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Assist in emergency response and storm recovery operations
- Complete work orders with accurate documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience in construction/maintenance preferred
