Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, saws, and asphalt equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency storm response and disaster recovery operations
- Maintain safe work environments and adhere to OSHA standards
- Document daily activities and complete maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Flexible availability for on-site assignments across Reno
- Experience with public works or construction preferred
