Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor on road construction, drainage systems, and municipal facilities
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, compactors) with proper certification
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Assist skilled tradespersons with excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Georgia DOT flagger certification
- Reliable transportation to various Atlanta locations
- Basic math skills for material measurement
