Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and road maintenance
- Operate heavy equipment safely (backhoes, loaders, dump trucks)
- Install and repair public utilities (water, sewer, storm drains)
- Assist in emergency response during weather events
- Maintain accurate work records and safety documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class B CDL license
- Minimum 2 years construction/municipal labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Texas Class B CDL with tanker endorsement required
