Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery including sweepers, mowers, and hand tools
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and snow removal operations
- Conduct safety inspections and report infrastructure hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Adhere to all OSHA and city safety protocols
- Complete accurate daily work logs and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
