Responsibilities
- Perform street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and pothole filling
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, loaders, and snowplows
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Support park maintenance and public space beautification projects
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather
- Conduct routine inspections of municipal infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Massachusetts driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years experience in construction, landscaping, or related field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety protocols
- Ability to operate hand/power tools safely
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
