Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and equipment operation
- Maintain public parks, greenways, and recreational facilities
- Assist in road repair, signage installation, and traffic control
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, tractors) under supervision
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic machinery
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or construction practices
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
