Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street repairs, drainage maintenance, and vegetation control
- Operate light equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Assist in emergency response during storms and natural disasters
- Inspect public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand/power tools and safety procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Preferred: Experience with municipal infrastructure or public works
