Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including snowplows, graders, and trenchers
- Conduct inspections and repairs of stormwater systems
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for infrastructure projects
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public works or construction
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of GIS mapping systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
