Responsibilities
- Operate light/heavy machinery for street maintenance and construction projects
- Perform manual labor including snow removal, debris cleanup, and groundskeeping
- Inspect and repair public infrastructure (sidewalks, signage, traffic signals)
- Support emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate work records and safety documentation
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills
- Commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free workplace compliance
