Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including paving, patching, sweeping, and cleaning roadways and public areas.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter weather events.
- Maintain and repair park facilities, drainage areas, and sidewalks.
- Operate light to medium-duty construction equipment and tools (e.g., asphalt rollers, dump trucks, jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and traffic control procedures.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and road maintenance practices is preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
