Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for road maintenance, park development, and utility infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in asphalt paving, concrete work, and drainage system installations
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs of public facilities
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document daily work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment
- Experience with groundskeeping or municipal services preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
