Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (compactors, rollers, jackhammers) with proper training
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk installation, and park maintenance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Document work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience in construction or public works preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
