Responsibilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for construction/maintenance tasks
- Perform routine inspections and repairs of public infrastructure
- Assist in seasonal projects including snow removal and park beautification
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Document work progress and maintain equipment logs
- Support emergency response during extreme weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends/evenings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
