Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, graders) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping projects
- Conduct routine maintenance of public facilities and green spaces
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for construction zones
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment inspection records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or public works preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
