Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, and rollers.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and storm drains.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices to ensure safety on job sites.
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment from trucks.
- Perform general cleaning and site maintenance duties.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Virginia Driver's License is required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer medical examination and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
